Made a visit for dinner and happy hour at this fantastic spot! I had heard great things about it from multiple sources and just had to experience it for myself. The parking lot is a bit small, but we made it work. Arrived right at 5pm when they opened, perfect timing for happy hour from 5pm-7pm. The welcome from the staff was warm and inviting. The seating was comfy and the decor and ambiance added to the enjoyable atmosphere. We decided to try the Takoyaki from the happy hour menu, and it was a delight—6 generous pieces with big chunks of octopus that were absolutely delicious! To accompany that, I ordered the Spider Roll and the Monster Roll, both of which were excellent and incredibly fresh. If only the raw roll menu had more options, but overall, a delightful experience! Can’t wait to be back!

Their happy hour sake for $9.9 is an absolute steal, and their skewers are a true delight! My personal favorite has to be the chicken thigh skewers – the meat was cooked to perfection, charred on the outside and incredibly juicy on the inside. The sea bass skewers and chicken gizzard were equally amazing. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of the skewers they offer!
Arriving at 6pm on a weekday meant we had to wait for an hour, so I’d definitely recommend going a bit earlier. The wait and any discomfort from the heat were absolutely worth it for the food! Also, the decor exudes a traditional Izakaya vibe which adds to the overall enjoyable experience.
The sea bass was excellent and loved all the sushi rolls we got! Defff will be a go to spot for a casual dinner date!

Why did it take me so long to discover this gem in Tampa?! It’s renowned for its incredible Japanese cuisine in a laid-back atmosphere.
Reservations aren’t taken for parties under 6, so anticipate a wait. I went on a Friday around 6pm and surprisingly only waited about 20 minutes! You can either grab a drink or wait outside/in your car, and they’ll text you when your table is ready. So worth the little wait for the amazing experience!

Without a doubt, one of the top Japanese restaurants in the Tampa area! It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed evening drink after work. Their happy hour deals are a great bonus, and there’s a smaller parking lot right at the front for easy access.
Every dish I’ve tried here has been outstanding. The kimchi cream udon, Izakaya special roll, black dragon roll, and honor roll are must-tries. Ordering here is a foolproof choice! Even the desserts are fantastic. We had the matcha crème brûlée, and the matcha flavor was delightfully strong—pure goodness!
Cocktails here are delicious too! Remember the desserts are unique but just okay for my personal tastes.

Round two at this fantastic eatery! The yakitori skewers are a consistent delight, and my top picks are the NY strip, pork belly, chicken thighs, and grilled eel (Unagi). The garlic bok choy is a rich and delicious side that complements the skewers perfectly. The gyudon and tebasaki are decent, but I’d only order them if I’m specifically craving them.
Now, let’s talk about the seasonal otoro fatty tuna – OH. M. G. It’s an absolute must-try and surprisingly affordable. Don’t miss out if they have it available!
